Ross Chandler's research spans a variety of rare earth element and critical metal mineralisation types, including peralkaline volcanic-hosted, IOCG and Mary Kathleen-type, and carbonatite-hosted deposits. Ross is interested in using experimental petrology and advanced analytical techniques to investigate how these deposits form, how they can be discovered, and how critical metals can be extracted from their mineral hosts safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
